LIMS Messaging: Clicking Start Causes The Application To Close

ISSUE:
When you click on START in LIMS Messaging, the application closes without starting.

RESOLUTION:

By updating the LIMS Messaging shortcut path from “.ACCDB” to “.ACCDE” you can resolve this error Below is an example of the “before” and “after”. Please note that if you do not currently have a copy of the “.accde” in your LIMS Messaging folder, please contact us for assistance.

AFTER: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\MSACCESS.EXE” “C:\Program Files (x86)\J Street Messaging for LIMS 6.0.0.7\LimsMapi6.accde” /excl /runtime
