Users Missing From Admin>User Screen in LIMS

Issue:
Userscan successfully log in to LIMS, but when you check the Admin> Users screen you cannot see a user and their role.

Resolution:

LIMS is designed to allow each user 1 permission role. When a user is assigned multiple roles from within the database (via SSMS), LIMS will not display that user in the Admin> User screen.

To remedy this, go in to the database via SSMS and go to ROLES. Determine the highest level of role that you want that user to have and remove that user from all of the other ROLE options. Once you have successfully removed the user(s) from the extra roles you should be able to see the user’s name on the Admin> Users screen.
